Positive: What a beautiful night in the desert ! My wife and I were looking for an authentic and unique experience in the Omani desert and our stay exceeded our initial thoughts. Hamad and his team were perfect in terms of attention and we had enjoyable discussions throughout the journey that made us feel part of a special moment. The facilities were genuine and more than sufficient for an unforgettable break from civilization. Can only highly recommend !

Positive: ‘The One’ Private Camp - A Truly Authentic Desert Experience. From start to finish, our stay at 'The One' Private Camp was unforgettable. We were met by Hamad, who expertly prepared our 4WD before leading us deep into the desert - far from any noise or light pollution. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the amazing Osman and Amran, who welcomed us with fresh hibiscus juice, coffee, dates, and cold water. Hamad sat with us, sharing fascinating Omani stories that offered a real insight into local life. As the sun began to set, a magical camel ride was arranged, followed by a delicious dinner prepared right there in the desert by Osman and Amran. Their level of service was truly outstanding - we were never left wanting for anything. They even lit a bonfire for us to enjoy while we dined under the stars. The next morning, we woke to a stunning sunrise and enjoyed a beautiful breakfast with everything you could want to start the day. Once again, Amran and Osman went above and beyond, treating us like royalty. The private tent had all the amenities we needed, perfectly balancing comfort with authenticity. If you’re seeking a genuine desert experience away from the crowds, we can’t recommend 'The One' Private Camp highly enough.

Positive: It was a wonderful stay at The One camp. We had a unique experience with very kind staff, amazing breakfast and dinner and a host who was there to fulfill all our wishes. We would definitely recommend the camel ride and the dune bashing. For nearby activities the host recommended us to go to Wadi Hawer which was amazing. 10/10 for this experience.

Positive: We wanted to stay a night in the desert in Oman. There are many camps out there in Wahiba Sands, so lot of options to choose from, but there are only a few options that provide a one tent experience, away from all the mass tourism, and just focusing on being in the desert. We enjoyed a wonderful stay at The One tent camp, combined with a camel safari, an excellent diner, a delicious breakfast, and just simply a whole different kind of experience than anything else. We want to thank Hamad for his hospitality and all of his stories, as well as Imran for the truly great food and service provided. Communication was excellent, as well as the help provided when driving in the desert.
Negative: Absolutely nothing. This is a place definitely worth staying.

Positive: the place is simply lovely we couldn't have had a better tent. Amed the owner is a wonderful person, he made us prepare a delicious dinner, an aperitif upon arrival, and a plentiful and delicious breakfast, the tent is wonderful, the sheets are perfect, as are the bathroom and the shower, nothing is missing , as well as being positioned in a suggestive point where you can touch the stars with a finger, and the atmosphere is dreamlike 🙏

Positive: what an incredible experience! The host is genuinely proud of his desert retreat, and it shows in every detail. We loved the thoughtful touches in the dining area and the well-maintained toilet facilities. The bed was extremely comfortable, providing a restful night’s sleep under the stars. Both the dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious, with flavors that perfectly complemented the serene surroundings.
